Engagement Completed with IRNC TransPAC Project

CTSC is happy to announce we have completed our engagement with the IRNC TransPAC project (NSF Award #1450904). The TransPAC project developed a cybersecurity plan using CTSC’s Guide to Developing Cybersecurity Programs for NSF Science and Engineering Projects and CTSC assisted them through the process by answering questions and providing advice.  The engagement started with TransPAC’s Master Information Security Policy and Procedures document, in which insight and clarifications were provided to TransPAC through collaborative editing and discussions.  The engagement proceeded on to secondary documents, including: Information Asset Inventory, Information Classification Policy, Network Data Privacy Policy, and Network Acceptable Use Policy.  The result of this engagement was an enhancement to TransPAC’s ability to publish clear and relevant policy documentation regarding its CI for both its members and its peers.
